Dan Weaver, MBA

Dan Weaver is a Managing Partner of Springboard International and an experienced executive, strategist, and organizational development consultant. He brings more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning higher education, organizational consulting, entrepreneurship, nonprofit organizations, and public policy.

Dan works with executives, leadership teams, and Boards to strengthen organizations, develop leaders, navigate change, and turn strategy into action. His work includes strategic planning, organizational development, leadership development and executive coaching, governance, stakeholder engagement, and team effectiveness. He brings a collaborative approach to his work and is particularly skilled at helping groups make sense of complex issues, build alignment, and translate good thinking into practical action.

Before taking over Springboard International, Dan spent 17 years at the University of Northern Colorado, ultimately serving as Vice President for External and University Relations and as a member of the university's executive leadership team. He led more than 300 employees across multiple areas of the university and shared responsibility for institutional planning, policy, strategy, operations, and stewardship of a $200 million annual budget. He also served as Interim Director of Athletics for UNC's NCAA Division I athletics program.

Dan's career has also included co-founding a technology company that grew from startup through acquisition and working in public policy and government relations at both the state and federal levels, including five years in the United States Senate.

He holds an MBA from the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business and a bachelor's degree in political science from Colorado Mesa University.
